In the city of Gubkin, Belgorod region, the command post of the "Sever" troop grouping has been successfully struck. Local residents reported hearing explosions.

This is reported by the Main Intelligence Directorate. The agency released a corresponding video.

"In the city of Gubkin, Belgorod region, the command post of the 'Sever' grouping of the Russian occupation army has been successfully hit. Gubkin residents observed thick black smoke, smelled its odor, and heard loud explosions. The GUR of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine reminds that for every crime committed against the Ukrainian people, there will be adequate and just retribution," the statement reads.

Recall that the day before, "Telegraph" reported that powerful explosions were heard in two regions of the Russian Federation — Voronezh and Belgorod. Specifically, social media reported "hits" on Russian industrial facilities. As a result of drone attacks, fires broke out at enterprises, damaging infrastructure and power lines.

"Telegraph" also noted that Ukraine has already taken advantage of the U.S. permission to strike Russia.
