On Monday, December 16, in the capital and the Kyiv region, the power outages will be implemented differently. The schedules will be in effect from 07:00 to 20:00.
According to DTЕК, the new schedules will further divide all groups into two subgroups. You can check your group status in the chatbot or on the DTЕК website.
Subgroup 4.2 will not experience outages today.
Outages:
DTЕК added that the reason for the restrictions is the damage to energy facilities caused by Russian missile and drone attacks in November and December of this year.
Last week, instructions on power outage schedules were updated in Ukraine. Over the next few days, distribution system operators (DSOs, or more commonly known as regional energy companies) adapted their schedules to the new requirements.
What has changed for residential consumers:
Each group in each region, as determined by the regional energy companies, will receive a specific time when restrictions will apply.
However, since it is impossible to equalize the duration for each group throughout the day, the final adjustments will occur at the end of the week.
Previously, Telegrаph reported that starting in 2025, the Ministry of Energy plans to change the procedure for implementing stabilization power outage schedules. All regions may be divided into several zones.
