In the sky over Ukraine, mysterious passenger planes continue to be recorded crossing the closed airspace. This time, a civilian airliner was spotted.

According to the service Flightradar24, on January 19, an airliner from the Belarusian airline "Belavia" was present in Ukrainian airspace. It was detected in the Donetsk region.

Flight B2718/B738 took off from Dubai and was headed to Minsk, where it landed at 16:35. During the nearly 6-hour flight, the aircraft, according to the map, crossed the closed airspace of Ukraine and flew over the Donetsk region near Kramatorsk.

The airspace over Ukraine has been closed since the onset of the Russian invasion, prompting civilian aircraft to use alternative routes due to the risk of being shot down by air defense systems. However, monitoring services regularly detect passenger planes over various Ukrainian regions.

There could be several reasons for their appearance: transmission of distorted data regarding the aircraft's location, failures in ground reception stations, GPS interference, active use of electronic warfare, or issues with data processing in the Flightradar service.

Previously, "Telegraf" reported that nearly dozens of passenger planes were observed over Ukraine at the same time. Interestingly, two of them were flying from the United States.
