It is the 989th day of the full-scale war against Russian occupiers. From the start of the previous day, November 7, until 22:00, there were 140 combat encounters on the front lines. The Russians have occupied a new village in the Donetsk region.

According to data from the DeepState portal, the enemy has occupied Novoalekseyevka. Additionally, the Russian army has advanced near Novovodmitrovka, Novoaleksandrovka, and Maksimovka.

As reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, in their summary as of 22:00 on November 7, the most intense fighting over the past day occurred in the Kurakhove direction. There, the Russians attempted to advance 50 times. The main battles took place near Ilinka, Novoselidivka, Kremenna Balka, Novodmitrovka, Sontsivka, Maksymilianivka, Antonivka, Dalne, and Yekaterinivka.

The enemy also maintains high activity in the Pokrovsk direction. In less than a day, they attacked our positions 23 times. Combat encounters occurred in the areas of Myrolyubivka, Lucha, Lysovka, Kruty Yar, Hryhorivka, Sukhy Yar, and Selidove. It is noted that our defenders repelled all assaults by the Russians.

"According to available information, the losses of the occupiers in the direction today (November 7, — ed.) amount to 357 killed and wounded, with a mortar, five armored fighting vehicles, a tank, and seven units of automotive equipment destroyed. A gun, a tank, two cars, and two armored fighting vehicles were also damaged,” the General Staff clarified.

As reported by "Telegraf", on the night of Friday, November 8, drones attacked the Russian city of Saratov. Preliminary reports indicate that a refinery was affected, resulting in a fire.
