In Dnipropetrovsk region, a man tragically died in a fire at his own apartment.

In Dnipropetrovsk region, a man died in a house fire, as reported by "Vідомо" referencing the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Dnipropetrovsk region.

The incident took place on Shevchenko Street in the village of Tomakivka, Nikopol district. Arriving firefighters determined that the fire started in a room of an apartment in a two-story residential building. Household items were ablaze over an area of 6 square meters.

During the fire extinguishing efforts, rescue service personnel discovered a man, born in 1971, inside the apartment, showing no signs of life.

A total of 8 rescuers and 2 units of fire and rescue equipment from the Main Department of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Dnipropetrovsk region were dispatched to the scene.
