The death of Russian Lieutenant General Igor Kirilov as a result of an explosion has several theories: one suggests that explosives were planted in his official vehicle, while others claim it was in a nearby scooter.
As noted by RT, citing sources within law enforcement, the car exploded when the serviceman exited the building and approached it.
Alongside Kirilov, his aide was also killed. The explosion occurred around 6 AM on Ryazansky Avenue in Moscow.

Online reports indicate that windows in neighboring buildings were damaged by the blast, and the entire area of the incident was littered with debris. Initial footage from the scene has already been released, showing that the door at the explosion's epicenter was damaged and glass was blown out of windows.

As a reminder, Colonel of the RF Armed Forces Alexander Lebedev, who worked at a military institute, was eliminated in Donbas.
Previously, "Telegraph" reported that a modernization specialist for cruise missiles, which are used against Ukrainians, may have been eliminated in Moscow.
