We invite you to explore the weekly events and materials overview, with a brief description compiled for you in this article.

Shot Down and High

The Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed another Ka-52 attack helicopter of the Russian army, this time captured on camera during the operation of the "Osa" anti-aircraft missile system in the Kherson area. This is particularly unusual as typically, footage of portable air defense missile systems is more common.

The first video shows the anti-aircraft system's operation from the side. It clearly depicts the missile launch and its detonation at the altitude where the enemy helicopter was located.

The second video features the same incident, but from the perspective of the "Osa" system operators, who skillfully eliminated the target.

It is worth noting that given the altitude of the Ka-52's flight, it was likely conducting reconnaissance tasks and attempting to identify targets for other strike assets.

The Russians Lost Their Ship

The Russian occupation forces unexpectedly lost another ship – the patrol vessel "Rasul Gamzatov" of project 22460, which belonged to the coastal guard of the FSB of Russia.

As confirmed by Defense Express from its own sources, the ship was damaged while navigating internal waters (Volga-Don Canal) from the Caspian Sea to the Sea of Azov. Details are available in our material.

Another Su-25 Shot Down Near Balakliya

The Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed another aircraft of the so-called "aerospace forces" of Russia: either a Su-30 or Su-34 in the Balakliya area. According to preliminary data, the credit for clearing the skies of occupiers goes to the air defense of the Ukrainian Air Force.

Several videos of the enemy aircraft's destruction have already emerged online, providing additional details about the event. More on this can be found in our material.

Parades Didn't Make It

The war between Russia and Ukraine has been ongoing for over two months. Throughout this time, the Russian Ministry of Defense has yet to acknowledge that their forces have suffered heavy losses in armored vehicles.

According to incomplete data from the Oryx portal, the enemy has already lost 571 tanks, while data from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine indicates 939 tanks lost. This is notable considering that in the past year, the enemy's army received only 240 new and upgraded tanks.

The losses include older T-72A tanks (in service since 1979) and relatively modern upgraded T-72B3M and T-80BVM tanks. However, among the losses or combat samples, there are no "new products" from the orc military-industrial complex - the highly publicized T-90M "Proryv" and T-14 "Armata".

Although experts indicate that units of the 1st Tank Army possess T-90M and T-14 tanks. Moreover, a convoy of T-90M tanks was spotted near the border with Ukraine at the end of February. So what is the issue? Are the T-90M and T-14 so inadequate that the Russian Ministry of Defense is hesitant to deploy them in battle? Answers to these questions can be found in the Defense Express material.

An Unexpected Source of Supplies

The Danish government has decided to transfer a new batch of military aid to Ukraine amounting to 600 million Danish crowns, equivalent to 90 million dollars, including M113 armored personnel carriers, 120 mm caliber mines, and anti-tank weapons, without specifying the quantity. This is reported by the public broadcaster Danmarks Radio.

Regardless of how many units of weapons and equipment the Armed Forces of Ukraine will receive from Denmark, the trend is significant – Copenhagen has changed its official stance and has decided to supply arms to Ukraine. As previously reported by Defense Express, at the beginning of February this year, the Danish government refused to sell Stinger MANPADS to Ukraine, claiming they were "obsolete."
