Ukrainian military forces have acquired a new unusual trophy – a MTU-72 bridge-layer (the source mistakenly provided the incorrect designation of the vehicle) from the Russian occupying forces. Photos of the captured equipment along with Ukrainian soldiers were shared by the advisor to the Minister of Internal Affairs, Anton Gerashchenko.
The tank bridge-layer MTU-72 is designed to establish crossings over narrow water obstacles, ravines, and engineering barriers in combat situations, with a width of up to 18 meters. The load capacity of this machine is 50 tons.
This is already the second intriguing trophy we are reporting on today. Earlier, it was revealed that soldiers from the 10th Mountain Assault Brigade captured a trophy electronic warfare system from the enemy within the last day.
This refers to the electronic warfare system "Borisoglebsk-2," which will now be used against the Russian occupying forces.
