On the morning of December 15, long-range strike drones once again targeted facilities in Grozny, the capital of the Chechen Republic. A series of videos have emerged online, including one below showing an A-22 aircraft from Aeroprakt, modified into a strike drone, crashing into the building of the OMON base.
Simultaneously, according to data from open sources, in addition to the OMON base, the drones also visited two other sites - firstly, the 2nd Special Purpose Police Regiment, as well as one of the military bases from which troops are allegedly sent directly to fight in Ukraine.
This marks the second time in just a few days that drones have targeted facilities in Grozny. This refers to an attack on the territory of the Kadyrov Special Purpose Police Regiment, after which the so-called "Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation" reported that one long-range strike drone had been shot down over Chechnya.
Overall, this is already the third attack on the capital of the Chechen Republic in December. On the night of December 4, the Special Purpose Police Regiment was also attacked, and in both instances, Ramzan Kadyrov provided information about "all the downed drones."
It is also worth noting that this is the third time this month that drones have traveled over 1000 km and hit their targets, although it remains unknown how many drones were launched in total and how many reached their targets.
Earlier, Defense Express reported that in Russia, they identified the main problem with their "air defense drones" against our long-range unmanned aerial vehicles.
