Popular American podcaster Lex Fridman visited Ukraine and had a conversation with President Volodymyr Zelensky. Their dialogue is set to be released on January 6.
Fridman announced this on the social media platform X. According to him, they had a "wonderful conversation."
"The podcast episode is scheduled to air on Monday. It will be over 3 hours long," he wrote.
The podcaster did not disclose any further details. It is worth noting that he had previously suggested to Zelensky that they conduct the conversation in Russian, but it is currently unknown whether the Ukrainian leader accepted his proposal.
Lex (Alexey) Fridman is a well-known American podcaster, scientist, and researcher in the field of artificial intelligence. However, he gained the most recognition for his dialogues with various thought leaders, scientists, and other prominent figures. Among them were former U.S. President Donald Trump, rapper Kanye West, billionaire Elon Musk, Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg, and many others.
Fridman has often spoken out against war in general, but has not publicly supported either Ukraine or Russia. His YouTube channel has nearly 4.5 million subscribers.
Fridman's arrival in Kyiv became known on December 26, when he reported that he had visited Babyn Yar. According to him, many of his relatives were killed there by Nazis in 1943.
