Frosts will gradually recede, but precipitation is on the way. Here’s the weather forecast for Kyiv in the coming days.

The frosts that currently exist in Kyiv have reached -10 degrees, but from February 12 to 14, they will gradually rise to 0. Meteorologists also warn of rain and potential icy conditions.

Light rain mixed with snow is expected only on Friday, anticipated in the latter half of the day, according to the forecast from Meteofor.

Wednesday, February 12, brought not only variable cloudiness to the city but also the lowest temperatures of the workweek. During the day, the temperature will drop to -5 degrees, while at night it will remain around -10 degrees. The strongest gusts of wind occurred at night — a gentle 3 m/s.

Thursday, February 13, is expected to be mostly clear but cold. The temperature during the day will cool down to -1 degree, and at night it will drop to -9 degrees. The wind strength on this day will not exceed a light 4 m/s.

On Friday, February 14, light snow mixed with rain will fall. Precipitation is forecasted for the latter part of the day. Around lunchtime, the temperature will stay at 0, while at night it is expected to drop to -6 degrees. The maximum wind gusts are predicted for the evening — a brisk 8 m/s.
