"Neptune" has destroyed an ammunition and drone storage facility in the suburbs of Rostov-on-Don, specifically targeting the "Plastfactor" enterprise.

To strike a military target near Rostov-on-Don, the "Neptune" missile had to cover over 170 km, breaching not only the frontline air defense of Russia but also its rear air defense systems.
"Нептун" уничтожил склад боеприпасов и дронов в пригороде Ростова-на-Дону, речь идет о предприятии "Пластфактор".

Thanks to the "Neptune" missile, the Ukrainian Navy, in collaboration with the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU), has destroyed an ammunition storage facility and reconnaissance drones located in the suburb of Rostov-on-Don, in the village of Chaltir. The distance from the front line to the strike location is approximately 170 km in a straight line.

The attack on the night of January 10 was carried out using a tactic to overload the enemy's air defense with drones launched by SBU operatives. In the created "window," the "Neptune" missile struck. This was reported by "Ukrinform" citing its sources within the Security Service of Ukraine.

According to Defense Express, on that night, a private enterprise named "Plastfaktor" (sometimes its location is indicated as the village of Krym, adjacent to Chaltir) was successfully hit. This company specializes in the production of PVC flooring. However, it is noteworthy that a transport company is located nearby.

At the same time, the Russian army actively utilizes civilian trucks for transporting ammunition. This practice has been known since 2022, and by 2024, it had become widespread and was actively scaling up, as reported by Ukrainian partisans from the "ATESH" organization.

Therefore, it is not surprising if ammunition and other weaponry were stored on the premises of the transport company. The placement of weapons right in the middle of a populated area has never concerned the Russians. It is worth reminding that on September 9, 2024, the "Neptune" also destroyed nearly four hundred "Shaheds" that were stored in a warehouse in the village of Oktyabrskoye in the Krasnodar Krai of the Russian Federation.

At the same time, another successful missile attack by Ukraine once again demonstrates that Russia lacks the resources to cover all its critical facilities with air defense systems, even in the suburbs of Rostov-on-Don.
