A brutal robbery took place in the Industrial District of Dnipro on February 16, near a house on Bohdan Khmelnytsky Street, where a 57-year-old woman fell victim to an attack by an unknown assailant. This was reported by "Vidomo," citing the police of Dnipropetrovsk region.
The victim, who was heading to the nearest store, became an unfortunate target for an unknown individual who struck her several times on the head with a hammer.
The initial blow was apparently aimed at incapacitating the victim and stealing her valuables. However, the woman unexpectedly resisted, preventing the attacker from easily taking her mobile phone. This led to further brutal violence.
The assailant, caught off guard by the resistance, became enraged and delivered two more hammer blows to the unfortunate woman's head, which were so forceful that she lost consciousness. After achieving his goal, the criminal seized the mobile phone and fled the scene.
Later, the stolen mobile phone was found in one of the pawn shops in Dnipro, which allowed the police to identify the perpetrator and locate him.
The Dnipro police are actively investigating this heinous crime.
