A train traveling from Dnipro to Kharkiv struck a man (PHOTO)

Near the city of Zlatopech, in the Kharkiv region, on February 15 at approximately 18:30, a passenger train traveling from Dnipro to Kharkiv struck a 35-year-old man, as reported by "Vydamo" citing the Kharkiv Regional Police.

Unfortunately, the victim succumbed to his injuries during transport to the hospital by ambulance.

Officers from the police department and the investigative unit of the Main Directorate of the National Police in Kharkiv region were dispatched to the scene.

It has been noted that a criminal case has been initiated under part 3 of article 276 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine — violation of safety regulations for the movement or operation of rail, water, or air transport.
