On the morning of Wednesday, February 12, at the "Yahodin" border checkpoint, border guards discovered drugs in the luggage of a 30-year-old resident of the Dnipropetrovsk region—a package containing cannabis. This was reported by the press service of the Volyn Border Detachment, as conveyed by "Vidomo".
It was noted that during the processing of the train "Kyiv – Chełm," a service dog trained to detect drugs alerted on the luggage of one of the passengers. Upon inspecting the suitcase of the Dnipropetrovsk resident, inspectors found a package containing a plant-based substance, likely cannabis.
The border guards informed the police about the discovery. The substance was seized from the man and sent for examination.
