In Kryvyi Rih, a court has announced its verdict for a man who bit a police officer during his arrest on November 6, 2024, as reported by "Vydomo" citing "Kryvyi Rih LIFE".
At that time, the aggressor violated the curfew and was wandering the streets of the city at 11:30 PM.
When law enforcement noticed him, they approached and asked him to explain the reason for his violation. However, the man did not respond to their remarks and attempted to strike the patrol officers, refusing to voluntarily go to the district department for the drafting of an administrative protocol.
The police decided to detain the aggressor, and he then attacked one of the officers, biting him on the arm and causing minor bodily injuries.
In court, the man struggled to explain the reasons for his wrongdoing but expressed remorse for the crime committed and asked not to be punished harshly.
The October District Court of Kryvyi Rih found the assailant guilty and imposed a sentence of three years of restricted freedom, with a probation period of two years.
