Ignored the ban: poachers were apprehended in the Dnipropetrovsk region while hunting wild birds (PHOTOS).

In the Pavlograd district, a group of men was detained for hunting birds in violation of the ban during martial law. This was reported by the Patrol Police of the Dnipropetrovsk region, as conveyed by "Vidomo".

Recently, near Pavlograd, patrol officers noticed a "Niva" vehicle emerging from a forested area. Several individuals and hunting dogs were inside the car. The law enforcement officers decided to stop the vehicle and inquire about the driver's details.

During a superficial inspection of the vehicle's interior, inspectors discovered hunting weapons. The driver and passenger informed the police that they were returning from a hunt and displayed the illegally obtained game – pheasants and a duck.

When asked if they had any permits for the birds, the individuals stated that they did not.

Given that the actions of these individuals exhibited signs of a criminal offense under Article 248 (Illegal Hunting) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, the patrol called in an investigative operational group to clarify all circumstances of the incident.
