Throughout 2024, Russians have been upgrading their drones. Additionally, the adversary has once again altered its tactics for employing them.

This was shared during a telethon by aviation expert and member of the Public Council at the State Aviation Service, Bogdan Dolinets. According to him, the enemy has primarily been experimenting with modifications to combat units.

"This indicates a development of nomenclature for drones," he believes.

The second crucial aspect is the change in tactics for using UAVs.

"The enemy has returned to flying at ultra-low altitudes. The key objective of this is to bypass air defense systems and reduce the detection time of such UAVs. And this complicates the capabilities of aviation to detect them," Dolinets noted.

Recall that we previously reported that on the evening of February 12, Russians once again conducted large-scale drone launches. Air defense operations were reported in Odesa and also in Sumy.

We also informed that Ukraine has developed its first analogue of the Russian "Solntsepek" flamethrower system. The Ministry of Defense has even showcased the first footage of its combat operations.
