Sweden has allocated its largest military aid package to support Ukraine, totaling 13.5 billion Swedish kronor (approximately 1.2 billion dollars). This package includes both the transfer of ready-made weapons and investments in the production of new ones, particularly in Ukraine, following the "Danish model." This is the 18th package, and overall, Sweden has provided assistance amounting to around 62 billion Swedish kronor (about 5.6 billion dollars).

It has been announced that nearly half of the new package amount, 5.9 billion Swedish kronor (534 million dollars), will be directed towards the production of new weaponry. As noted by the country's Defense Minister, Paul Jonsson, these will be the most prioritized items in the list of needs for the Armed Forces of Ukraine with short delivery times.

Additionally, 2.8 billion Swedish kronor (250 million dollars) will be allocated for direct funding of various defense programs and initiatives. This sum includes 1 billion Swedish kronor (about 90.8 million dollars) earmarked for Ukrainian production of long-range missiles and drones.

As for the transfer of already prepared weapons, their value is estimated at 3.3 billion Swedish kronor (approximately 300 million dollars). For these funds, the Armed Forces of Ukraine will receive 146 trucks, 16 CB 90 boats, 23 naval combat modules, 1500 TOW anti-tank missiles, 200 AT-4 grenade launchers, 1 million 12.7 mm machine gun cartridges, infantry weapons, ammunition, and more.

Furthermore, a total of 930 million Swedish kronor (about 75.3 million dollars) will be allocated for assistance in training soldiers under the Interflex program, military education projects, and scientific initiatives. An additional 400 million Swedish kronor (approximately 36.3 million dollars) will support the already delivered weaponry.

We should note that prior to the announcement of the aid package, a meeting took place at the level of the defense ministries of Sweden and Ukraine, during which initial work was discussed regarding the implementation of joint projects in the field of air defense, long-range strike capabilities that Sweden also possesses, and ammunition.
