In Ukraine, the moratorium on tariff increases for gas, hot water, and heating continues; however, the restrictions do not apply to electricity, cold water, and waste disposal. Specifically, the last service will see a significant price increase in Izmail, Odessa region.
The municipal enterprise "Zhitsservice" announced an increase in tariffs for solid waste disposal services in Izmail starting from March 2025. The reasons for the price revision include the rise in material costs, an increase in the minimum wage, and a 47% hike in the cost of waste acceptance and burial, as set by LLC "Komuntrans".
Therefore, for the city's residents, the tariff will increase by 12.7% — from 55 to 62 hryvnias per person. The preliminary increase in the cost of this service in Izmail occurred a year ago: in March 2024, the tariff rose from 39 to 55 hryvnias.
Earlier, "Telegraf" reported that residents of Berdichev were unfortunate with water tariffs — they have already risen. Several other cities in Ukraine are also preparing for increases.
