In the second half of December, an unusual warming arrived in Ukraine, with temperatures in some regions possibly rising above 10 degrees. However, this will be short-lived, as it will get colder again in just a few days.
This was stated in a forecast for "Telegraph" by the well-known meteorologist Igor Kibalchich.
According to him, the air in Ukraine began to warm up on December 21, and this trend will continue until the 25th, with average daytime temperatures across the country expected to be between 2-8 degrees Celsius, while in Crimea and southern regions, temperatures may reach 10-14 degrees above zero in some places.
However, starting Thursday, December 26, temperatures will begin to drop again. During the day, forecasters predict temperatures ranging from -3 to 3 degrees, while at night, temperatures could plummet to -7 degrees. In mountainous areas, frost is expected both day and night, reaching as low as -10 degrees. Only the Odessa region and Crimea will be spared from the frost, with positive temperatures forecasted there until the end of the year.
As a reminder, earlier "Telegraph" reported on where in Ukraine snow may fall on New Year’s.
