As seen in the video, the military enlistment officers stopped the man but did not detain him. Suddenly, the citizen sprinted away and ran directly into the roadway. There, he was hit by a vehicle.

The man was fortunate, as he did not sustain serious injuries; after being struck by the car, he got up and continued running.
