In Dnipropetrovsk region, a man stabbed his two brothers with a knife.

In VerkhDniprovs'k, police detained a man who attacked two brothers with a knife. This was reported by "Vydomo" citing the Main Department of the National Police in Dnipropetrovsk region.

The incident occurred on January 31 in VerkhDniprovs'k at the residence of three biological brothers. Law enforcement officials discovered that a quarrel broke out between the 43-year-old suspect and his twin brother because the relative was disturbing his rest. The suspect decided to end the conflict with a knife. He stabbed his brother in the abdomen several times. Hearing cries for help, another brother rushed into the room. However, the aggressive man also attacked him with the knife. The victims were hospitalized.

The suspect was detained under Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine. In coordination with the October District Prosecutor's Office, the attacker was informed of the suspicion of committing a criminal offense under Part 1 of Article 121 (intentional grievous bodily harm) and a preventive measure was chosen – detention. He faces a sentence of up to ten years.
