In Kamensk, a teenager stole a phone from a young child.

Police in Kamenskoye have charged a 15-year-old boy with robbing a 9-year-old child. This was reported by "Vydomo" citing the Main Directorate of the National Police in Dnipropetrovsk Region.

The boy's mother filed a robbery report with the police. She stated that an unknown individual took her son's gadget in the central part of the city, near their home.

The police discovered that the boy was playing in the yard when a teenager approached him and started a conversation. During their talk, the suspect noticed the child pulling out his phone from his pocket to illuminate the area in the dark. Seizing the opportunity, the perpetrator snatched the gadget from his hands and fled.

Investigators identified that the crime was committed by a 15-year-old local teenager. They also managed to locate the stolen mobile phone, which the thief had hidden in a stash.

In coordination with the Kamenskoye District Prosecutor's Office, the thief has been charged under Part 4 of Article 186 (robbery) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
