In Kryvyi Rih, a man received a criminal record for harassing his ex-wife. This was reported by "Vydomo" citing "Kryvyi Rih Life".
It is noted that during the divorce process, the woman repeatedly sought assistance from law enforcement due to the inability to communicate effectively with the man.
Ultimately, the marriage was dissolved, and the man was issued a restraining order prohibiting him from approaching the woman within 200 meters of her residence, workplace, medical treatment location, or other frequently visited places.
On October 7, at the premises of police station No. 1 of the Kryvyi Rih Police Department, he was informed about the court's decision regarding the issuance of the restraining order dated October 2, 2024, and the consequences of non-compliance, specifically warned of criminal liability for willful non-compliance with the restraining order under Article 390-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
However, on November 5, at around 21:35, he drunkenly entered his ex-wife's apartment. He engaged in a verbal conflict with her, stemming from previously established personal animosities, during which he threatened physical violence. The woman called the police.
The Dolgintsevsky District Court of Kryvyi Rih found the individual guilty of committing a criminal offense under Article 390-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine and sentenced him to 1 year of freedom restriction, with a probation period of 12 months.
