In Kryvyi Rih, within the Sakha district of the city, law enforcement officers apprehended a man who was walking the streets with an object that resembled a large knife. The detention occurred during a planned raid. This information was reported by "Vydomo" citing the patrol police of the Dnipropetrovsk region.
The patrol crew's attention was drawn to a man whose behavior raised justified suspicions. He appeared nervous and stood out from the crowd with his restless demeanor. When the local resident noticed the approaching police officers, he reportedly changed direction abruptly and attempted to flee. Experienced patrol inspectors thwarted his attempt to avoid contact.
The law enforcement officers acted strictly within the framework of the law and adhered to established procedural protocols. The patrol officers politely but firmly demanded that the man stop and present his identification. Realizing that he could not evade the inspection, he complied.
During a cursory search, the 46-year-old local man was found to be in possession of a large knife with a long blade.
The man himself refused to comment on the situation.
Following his arrest, the local resident was taken to the nearest police station for further investigation. The knife was seized as evidence and sent for examination to determine its exact type and characteristics.
