In Pavlograd, a man confronted his nephew over a dispute and arrived armed for the showdown.

The individual responsible for the shooting in Pavlograd has admitted guilt and is now without a firearm.

The conflict in Pavlohrad ended in gunfire. The incident occurred as a result of a quarrel between two men that began during a phone call. This was reported by "Vydomo" referencing Behemoth.

One of the individuals involved in the conflict seemingly aimed to demonstrate his bravery and courage, which ultimately led to serious consequences. According to court documents, the accused was at home that day while his wife was having a video call with her nephew. During the conversation, a tense situation arose, during which the men began exchanging sharp words. Consequently, they agreed to meet to resolve their differences face to face.

The accused decided to take a hunting rifle and ammunition with him, got dressed, and went outside. Upon reaching Zapadnodonbasska Street and noticing the car in which his opponent was located, he fired in that direction to intimidate him.

The actions of the accused were classified by the court as hooliganism, which under part 4 of article 296 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine implies a gross violation of public order.

The court ruled:

  • To find the accused guilty of committing a criminal offense under part 4 of article 296 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine and to impose a sentence of 3 (three) years of imprisonment.
  • Based on article 75 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, to release him from the imposed final punishment under probation, establishing a probation period of 1 (one) year,
  • To collect 7959 (seven thousand nine hundred fifty-nine) UAH from the accused for court costs related to the expert examinations.
