On Monday, December 30, an accident occurred in Pavlograd - a truck driver struck a pedestrian on the road, reports "Vидомо" citing the Telegram channel Dnipro Operative.

It is reported that the incident took place at the intersection of Iskrovskaya and Dneprovskaya streets. According to eyewitnesses, the truck driver ran a red light for unknown reasons and hit a man. The victim died at the scene; he was 51 years old.

The driver did not stop and sped away towards Dnipro, but was subsequently apprehended by the police. It was determined that the driver was sober. All other details of the case will be established by law enforcement.
