On February 10, the police received a report from doctors about a woman with a stab wound in one of the houses in the Dnipro district, as reported by "Vідомо" referencing the Police of Dnipropetrovsk region.

Law enforcement officials promptly arrived at the scene.

It turned out that during an argument, a 42-year-old man stabbed his 42-year-old wife.

Medical personnel transported the woman with a cut wound to the hospital. The man was detained by the authorities, and the knife was confiscated.

Investigators informed the detained individual of the suspicion under part 1 of article 121 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine—intentional serious bodily harm, which carries a penalty of up to eight years in prison. A decision is being made regarding the measure of restraint. The investigation is ongoing.
