On Saturday, January 4, a man staged a lengthy protest at the Bucharest University building in Romania. Stegarul Dac is known in the country for his frequent protests against the authorities, and this time, his actions led to road closures.

A correspondent from "Telegraph" visited the protest site and confirmed that the man had indeed climbed onto the roof of the building. According to reports from media sources, he spent a considerable amount of time on the roof of the under-construction university, holding a Romanian flag.

For a long while, he actively waved the flag and moved around the building. Bystanders called the police, as his behavior posed a threat to his life. However, the man was initially unresponsive to the pleas from the officers and negotiators.

The road near Bucharest University was closed off, as a large part of it was occupied by rescuers, medics, and police. Approximately at 6:00 PM local time, the man finally descended from the building and ended his solitary protest.

It is worth noting that during the nearly all-day protest, Dac conducted a live stream online, where he interacted with his followers. He also repeatedly stated, "I am defending a piece of Christ". It appears that he is opposing the renovation of the Bucharest University building.

It should be noted that Dac often organizes protests against the authorities in Romania and tends to do so on buildings, cranes, and similar structures.

Previously, "Telegraph" reported that residents of Slovakia support Ukraine and protested against Prime Minister Robert Fico.
