The Special Operations Forces report that they are continuing to decipher the notebook of a North Korean special forces operative who was neutralized during the fighting in the Kursk region. This notebook is designated under the conditional title "Notes of Private Jong," and as it is being decoded, new specific details are emerging that indicate the preparation of the DPRK troops for battles against the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
This time, the focus is on how the North Korean contingent was trained to shoot down drones and evade artillery fire. In summary, the instructions can be encapsulated in the phrase "fishing with live bait."
As emphasized by our Special Operations Forces, it remains unclear whether these were purely North Korean instructions or if Russian army instructors were teaching their "colleagues" from the DPRK. Nevertheless, we have the following picture.
For instance, to shoot down drones, North Korean soldiers received the following guidance – they should move on the battlefield in a "trio," with a "decoy" in front maintaining a distance of 7 meters, while the other two fighters, who keep a distance of 10-12 meters between themselves, engage the drone.
Moreover, it is noted that if the "decoy" stops, the drone will also halt its flight, and at that moment, the other two fighters from the "trio" should open fire.
Regarding evading artillery fire, the recommendations are as follows – either designate a gathering point and move there in small groups or first take cover at the point of the previous hit (by artillery - DE), and then make a dash to the gathering point from there.
The Special Operations Forces announce that there will be further analyses of the "Notes of Private Jong," from which we will learn new aspects of the DPRK military's preparation for battles against the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Earlier, Defense Express reported that Russia could have given North Korea $5.5 billion for weapons and shells and $576 million for troops, but what lies behind these figures, as well as which kamikaze drones North Korea might send to Russia and their capabilities.
