In three packages sent by one sender from Dnipropetrovsk to the USA, customs officials discovered axes showing signs of antiquity, according to "Vidomo," referencing Kiev Customs.

Despite the age of the items, they were declared as decorative. However, it turned out that the largest of the discovered axes dates back to the Cossack era, with an age of the artifact ranging from the 16th to the early 17th century. The two smaller axes are from the times of Kievan Rus, dating back to the 10th-13th centuries.

It is noted that customs officials have sent the items for examination. After the art historical evaluation and the necessary procedures, they will be stored in the National Military-Historical Museum, where every visitor will have the opportunity to see these witnesses of history firsthand.

Protocols have been drawn up against the citizen who sent the ancient artifacts. The axes have been seized pending a court decision.
