The state of martial law and general mobilization in Ukraine will continue until February 7, 2025. However, some men are eligible for a deferment from conscription during this time. Those with legitimate reasons may continue to receive summons by mail, but there is no need for them to worry.
This information was reported by lawyer Dmitry Donchak on the B2B Consult portal. He examined the situation where a man has a deferment due to studying at a higher educational institution and decided to extend it until February 7, 2025.
Nevertheless, the man still received a summons from the Military Recruitment Center (TCK).
However, this is not a situation to be concerned about, the lawyer stated. According to him, the TCK "might have mixed something up," or the deferment information may not have been updated. At the same time, the letter will be considered delivered if returned to the TCK, provided it is not collected according to current legislation.
In any case, the letter must be picked up at the post office. If it is from the TCK, one should go there with the summons and present proof of lawful deferment.
Previously, "Telegraph" reported on how to check if you are subject to mobilization. This depends on when the man last underwent a medical examination.
