The girl who was brutally beaten in Bila Tserkva was a displaced person trying to make friends but became a victim of an attack. She might have been assaulted due to slander. The condition of the injured child is very grim.

The aunt of the affected girl spoke on KIEV24 about the details of the attack. According to her, it was a setup by the girls who conspired against Yaroslav and slandered her.

They were waiting for her, the woman says. She adds that one boy, with whom she had been in friendly relations two months prior, called her.

"He said, 'Hi, I haven't seen you in a while, what are you up to? Why aren't you going out? Do you want to take a walk?' She replied, 'Of course, yes, I can.' She asked her mom, who agreed and suggested taking the dog along for a walk. He was waiting for her, and they went to that location. There, a whole group was already waiting for her. These are children who live in the same area as the girl (the victim Yaroslav — ed)," she explains.

According to the aunt, one of the girls offered Yaroslav some drugs. The information about this spread throughout the school, and it became one of the reasons for the aggression from the teenagers, the aunt says.

Currently, the girl's condition is very distressed. "She is cut off from life," her aunt added.

Additionally, on January 22, the Bila Tserkva city district court will determine the preventive measure for the 16-year-old suspect. Journalists from KIEV24 note that prosecutors are demanding the young man be taken into custody. The session is being held behind closed doors.

What led to this

In Bila Tserkva, Kyiv Oblast, three teenagers brutally beat a 12-year-old schoolgirl — among the attackers was a peer of the victim, along with two boys aged 15 and 16. The conflict arose among the participants due to various rumors that the victim allegedly spread about several individuals involved in the incident.

One of the suspects, a 16-year-old boy, threatened, hit the girl, and sprayed her in the face with a gas canister. He also exerted psychological pressure on the victim and demanded money amounting to 15,000 hryvnias.

Investigators reported suspicions against the young man for torture and extortion during martial law. Additionally, today, the actions of all participants in the crime were reclassified, and their actions are now being examined within the framework of a pre-trial investigation regarding the commission of the crime.

The brutal beating of the child in Bila Tserkva also drew a response from the educational ombudsperson Nadezhda Leshchik.

"What we see in the video circulated on social media is outrageously horrifying: a group of teenagers is bullying another teenage girl, hitting and humiliating her. Such actions can affect not only the physical health of the child who was harmed but also her psychological state," – Nadezhda Leshchik told TSN.ua.

Earlier, "Telegraph" reported that in Chernivtsi, two intoxicated teenagers beat a student in a dormitory and filmed the incident.
