In the sky over Ukraine, passenger aircraft are being recorded crossing the closed airspace of our country. Recently, Russian civil aviation was spotted over the Lviv region.
This is confirmed by data from the Flightradar24 portal. On January 11, a flight crossed the border of Ukraine on the flight map.
The flight THY4RC TK414/A332 departed from Moscow around 11:00 AM (Kyiv time) and entered Ukrainian airspace at 12:50 PM (Kyiv time). According to the flight map, the aircraft flew over the closed airspace of Ukraine, specifically over the Lviv region. It then continued to Istanbul, arriving there at 14:30.
The airspace over Ukraine has been closed since the onset of the Russian invasion, prompting civil aircraft to use alternative routes due to the risk of being shot down by air defense systems. However, monitoring services consistently record passenger planes over various regions of Ukraine.
There could be several reasons for their presence: transmission of distorted data about the aircraft's location, failures in ground reception stations, GPS interference, active use of electronic warfare, or issues with data processing in the Flightradar service.
Earlier, "Telegraph" reported that a Russian passenger plane was spotted over Ukraine. It was flying to St. Petersburg through a combat zone.
