Russians have taken another village and advanced, while the Ukrainian Armed Forces have achieved some success. Here’s the current situation on the front lines (map included).

Russians have occupied Neskuchny and advanced in several other settlements in the Donetsk region. Meanwhile, the Ukrainian Defense Forces have regained their position near Uspenivka.

This was reported on Thursday, January 16, by the project DeepState. It is noted that enemy advancements have been recorded particularly in Toretsk and Vremivka.

"The enemy has occupied Neskuchny and has also advanced in Vremivka, Toretsk, Kotlyno, near Udachny, Yantarniy, Novovasilyivka, and Sukhi Yalov,” the report states.

At the same time, Ukrainian forces have achieved success near Uspenivka, managing to restore their position in the vicinity of this settlement.

Additionally, on January 11, DeepState reported that Russians had occupied Kurakhovo, but there is no official information regarding this. Besides the capture of Kurakhovo, Russians have also made other advances in the Donetsk region. The enemy has progressed near Andriivka, Solenyi, and Novoselka.

Then, on January 14, it was reported about the capture of the village of Zelenyi by Russians. At that time, the enemy advanced in Toretsk, Pisky, Yasenove, Novo Komar, near Vozdvizhivka, Udachny, Uspenivka, Novoelyzavetivka, Slavyanka, Neskuchny, and Andriivka.

Recall that earlier "Telegraph" reported that throughout the previous year, 2024, Russians captured about 3,650 square kilometers of our land. The largest territorial losses were in the Donetsk and Kharkiv regions. Additionally, enemy advancements occurred over the year in the Luhansk, Zaporizhzhia, and Kherson regions.
