On the night of December 8, Kyiv and the Kyiv region experienced yet another attack by "Shaheds." Locals reported hearing explosions, which were the result of air defense operations.
This information was shared on social media platforms and monitoring Telegram channels. It was noted that the threat of UAVs had been present since 11 PM on December 7.
According to forecasts, a massive drone attack was expected to begin at that time. Soon, reports emerged that "Shaheds" were heading towards several cities.
Closer to midnight, it was reported that a Russian drone had entered the Holosiivskyi district of the capital. Around 12:33 AM, there were reports of air defense activity.
UAVs were also detected over Bucha, Irpin, and the Fastiv area. It was noted that the drones were circling over Zhytomyr region, then suddenly changing direction towards Kyiv and vice versa.
