The weather continues to surprise Ukrainians. After a brief period of frost that lasted only a few days, warmth will return once again.
"Telegraf," citing forecast by Igor Kibalchich, will discuss what the weather in Ukraine will be like on the weekend of January 18 and 19, as well as where precipitation is expected.
According to him, the western transfer of air masses from the northern part of the Atlantic Ocean will become more active, resulting in an increase in the average air temperature across Ukraine, leading to a thaw.
On Saturday, January 18, Ukraine is expected to experience weather with no significant precipitation. During the day and in the evening, light wet snow and possibly rain will occur in the northern and northeastern regions. The wind will be from the northwest at 9-14 m/s, while in Transcarpathia, it will be 1-6 m/s. The forecaster notes that the temperature is expected to be -2…+3 degrees Celsius at night and +2…+7 degrees Celsius during the day.
On Sunday, January 19, light precipitation in the form of wet snow and rain is expected in most regions of Ukraine, except for the western part. In some areas, fog and light accumulation of wet snow may occur. The wind will predominantly be from the north at 7-12 m/s. Nighttime temperatures will range from -3…+2 degrees Celsius and daytime temperatures from -1…+4 degrees Celsius.
