The Economic Security Bureau has reported that an airline registered in Dnipropetrovsk region has failed to pay nearly 10 million UAH in taxes, as conveyed by "Vedomo".
Investigators have established that the head of the company instructed the chief accountant to unlawfully apply a tax exemption to a number of transactions involving the supply of goods to a VAT non-payer, thus not charging value-added tax, and to submit tax reports to the regulatory authorities.
The company supplied helicopters and also offered services for the repair, maintenance, modernization, and outfitting of aircraft.
It has been determined that during July, September, December 2023, and April 2024, the company intentionally evaded the payment of more than 10.2 million UAH in value-added tax.
Currently, the individual has been notified of suspicion of committing a criminal offense as stipulated in part 2 of article 212 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (evasion of payment of taxes, fees, and mandatory payments).
