The former head of the Dnipro TCC and SP has been notified of suspicion for embezzling one million hryvnias.

The former head of the Dnipropetrovsk TCC and SP has been charged with causing damage to the state exceeding one million hryvnias, reports "Vydomo" referencing the Special Prosecutor's Office of the Eastern Region.

A colonel serving as the head of the Dnipropetrovsk OTC and SP abused his official position by issuing an order for the deployment of two servicemen from the RTC and SP to one of the state authorities without any legal grounds.

As a result, from April 2022 to March 2023, these servicemen were absent from military service and did not fulfill their duties.

Despite this, the suspect continued to pay them salaries and additional bonuses.

Prosecutors have charged the former head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Territorial Center for Staffing and Social Support with embezzlement of budget funds through the abuse of official position under martial law in particularly large amounts.
