In Dnipropetrovsk, a man robbed a store over a cat.

The citizen committed a crime partly for the sake of his furry friend.

In the Samara district of the Dnipropetrovsk region, a man stole a large number of items from the multi-market "Aurora." This was reported by "Vidomo," citing the Dnipropetrovsk Security Police.

"The response group of the Samara (Novomoskovsk) Police immediately apprehended the suspect after receiving a notification about the activation of the 'panic button,' who had stolen goods worth a significant amount from the store," – the report states.

As seen in the photo, the thief took a flashlight, batteries, socks, six cans of energy drink, canned food, etc. He also remembered his pet, grabbing two packs of cat food. However, he did not make it to his destination with his loot, as the police arrived and apprehended the thief.

The stolen items were seized from the offender. He has been handed over to the investigators of the local police department.
