In Kryvyi Rih, a man brutally beat an acquaintance to death in the street.

Law enforcement officers in Kryvyi Rih have detained a 38-year-old man suspected of beating his acquaintance to death. This was reported by "Vydomo" with reference to the National Police of Ukraine in Dnipropetrovsk region.

The crime occurred on December 13 at around 21:30 on one of the streets in Apostolove. Police established that a dispute arose between the acquaintances, during which the assailant fatally beat his companion. The 37-year-old victim succumbed to his injuries.

The local resident was detained under Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine, and investigators informed him of the suspicion under Part 2 of Article 121 of the Criminal Code. On December 16, a preventive measure in the form of detention was chosen for him.
