On Monday, December 16, a hearing is taking place at the Krasnogvadiyskiy District Court regarding the case of Ruben Voskanian, who committed a terrorist act in Dnipro on December 14 by detonating an improvised explosive device near an administrative building. This information was reported by "Vydomo" citing "Suspilne" and "Dnipro Opytny".
The court is determining the measure of restraint for the 37-year-old suspect in the terrorist attack on December 14, which resulted in one death and four injuries, including two police officers.
According to the suspect, he was set up. The "curator" allegedly informed him that he was supposed to splash paint on a person who was supposedly accepting bribes. He claims he was unaware of the explosive device.
It is also known that the individual has previously faced criminal charges. He is suspected of distributing prohibited substances – this case is currently in the Odessa court.
It should be noted that the suspect faces life imprisonment for the terrorist act.
