Border guards apprehended residents of Dnipropetrovsk region who were walking to Moldova (VIDEO).

Border guards from the Podolsk unit in the Razdelnyansky district apprehended a group of men who intended to illegally enter the Transnistrian region of Moldova but were detected long before they could cross the border. This information was reported by "Vіdomo" referencing GPSU.

As the border guards discovered, the violators found an organizer for illegal crossings through a closed Telegram channel, who provided instructions for unhindered border crossing.

The men were undeterred by the lack of any guarantees for a successful crossing, so each paid $6,500 to the organizer's cryptocurrency wallet.

Protocols regarding administrative offenses under Article 204-1 of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses "Illegal crossing or attempted illegal crossing of the state border of Ukraine" have been drawn up for residents of Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Kyiv, Odesa, Zaporizhzhia, and Mykolaiv regions, and the cases have been forwarded to court.
