23-year-old thief arrested in Dnipro for stealing a girl's phone (PHOTO)

A case of mobile phone theft occurred in Dnipro, which ended with the prompt detention of the suspect. The police received a call at "102" from a 37-year-old resident of Dnipro. She reported witnessing the robbery of a young girl in the entrance of a residential building. This information was shared by "Vidomo" citing the security police of Dnipropetrovsk region.

According to the witness, an unknown man suddenly attacked the girl, forcibly snatching the mobile phone from her hands and fleeing the scene. The description of the assailant provided by the witness was quite detailed.

Thanks to her clear description of the robber's appearance and the crime scene, the police had a clear idea of whom to look for and where to search. They checked the nearby streets, yards, and entrances, paying close attention to individuals matching the suspect's description.

As a result, they were able to find a man whose appearance completely matched the description. The suspect turned out to be a 23-year-old resident of Dnipro. During a personal search, a mobile phone was found on the detained individual, which was identified by the victim as her property. The phone was seized as evidence.

The detained 23-year-old man was taken to the police station for questioning and further investigation.

If his guilt is fully proven, he will be held criminally accountable under the current legislation of Ukraine.
