A woman suspected of drug distribution has been detained in Dnipro. The city resident was apprehended on Kazak Mamay Street. During the arrest, more than 50 packages of methadone, prepared for sale and carefully hidden under her clothing, were found and seized. This was reported by "Vidomo," citing the Dnipropetrovsk region police.

The woman concealed over fifty ready-to-sell packages under her clothing. The arrest of the 39-year-old "dealer" resulted from extensive preparatory work.

Law enforcement officials documented the crime, meticulously recording all circumstances of the incident and seizing physical evidence — over 50 packages of methadone.

The seized narcotic substances were sent for expert analysis to a specialized laboratory to confirm their composition and quantity. The results of the examination will be used as irrefutable evidence during the court proceedings.

On January 16, 2025, investigators officially informed the detainee of her suspicion in committing a criminal offense as stipulated by part 1 of Article 307 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, which prescribes penalties for the illegal circulation of narcotic substances.

This means that the suspect will face criminal liability and could face a lengthy prison sentence.
