In the Podolsky district of the Odessa region, border guards used technical means to detect a group of unknown individuals. Residents from Dnipropetrovsk, Rivne, Kharkiv, Odessa, and Zhytomyr regions attempted to illegally cross the Transnistrian segment of the Ukrainian-Moldovan border. This was reported by "Vidomo" referencing GPSU.
It is noted that to achieve their goals, they sought assistance from the administrator of one of the Telegram channels. The latter provided navigation advice, for which he would receive 120,000 hryvnias from each "client" upon successful crossing. Following the organizer's instructions, the travelers arrived at a specific gathering point, from where they headed towards the border. It was there that they were spotted by state border guards.
Protocols have been drawn up against the men for committing an administrative offense under part 2 of Article 204-1 of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses "Illegal crossing or attempted illegal crossing of the state border of Ukraine." The cases have been sent to court.
