Angry man set a car on fire at a service station in Dnipro: police released footage (PHOTO, VIDEO).

Investigators have reported suspicions against a 46-year-old man for setting fire to two vehicles in Dnipro. This information comes from "Vydomo" citing the National Police of Ukraine in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast.

The crime took place on January 15 on Philip Orlyk Avenue in the Central district of the city. In an act of revenge against his employer for delayed wages, the man took a five-liter container of gasoline and went to the company’s parking lot. After dousing two parked cars with gasoline, he set them ablaze. The moment of the arson was captured by a surveillance camera.

Law enforcement officials seized material evidence, and the man was detained under Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine.

On January 16, investigators informed the detainee of the suspicion of committing a criminal offense under part 2 of Article 194 (intentional destruction or damage to property) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The man could face a prison sentence of 3 to 10 years for the crime committed. The investigation is ongoing.
