Neighbors detected a foul odor: a murdered man was discovered in an apartment in Kamensk.

Police in Kamensky swiftly identified and apprehended a man who inflicted fatal knife wounds on his acquaintance during a dispute. This was reported by "Vідомо," citing the Main Directorate of the National Police in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast.

On February 18, around 9:00 AM, the police received a report of a corpse odor coming from an apartment in Kamensky. Upon arrival at the specified address, law enforcement officials discovered the body of the apartment owner. After examining the deceased, forensic experts found signs of violent death.

As a result of searches and interviews with potential witnesses and bystanders, the police quickly identified the suspect involved in the crime. He was a 31-year-old local resident.

It was revealed that on February 14, around 11:00 AM, a quarrel broke out between the 31-year-old offender and his 35-year-old acquaintance in the victim's apartment. During the altercation, the guest stabbed the host multiple times with a knife. After committing the crime, he remained in the house and the next day locked the door and left.

The suspect was informed of the charges against him for committing a criminal offense under part 1 of Article 115 (intentional murder) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, and a preventive measure was chosen – detention.
