The court has decided to place a 37-year-old man suspected of organizing a terrorist act that took place on December 14 in Dnipro under custody for a period of 60 days. This incident resulted in tragic consequences: one person was killed, and four others, including two law enforcement officers, sustained injuries of varying severity. The suspect recounted his actions on the day of the attack near the administrative building and mentioned that he had met a handler on Telegram who was signed as "Ded Moroz".
The defendant does not object to the chosen measure of restraint - detention for 60 days, while his lawyer insists on house arrest for his client.
The suspect stated that he has disabled grandparents in Dnipro, whom his mother cares for. Therefore, he would like to stay with them in the city and assist with their care.
